Dream (Dream)

Dream was a Japanese mixed martial arts (MMA) promotion founded in 2008 by Fighting and Entertainment Group (FEG) as a successor to Pride Fighting Championships and Hero’s. Based in Japan, Dream aimed to continue the country’s rich MMA tradition by organizing Grand Prix-style tournaments, featuring both Japanese stars and international fighters across multiple weight classes. Its events were known for their ring format, spectacle-driven presentation, and fast-paced tournament structures, often holding multiple rounds in a single night.

Despite early success and strong talent pools, Dream faced financial difficulties and increasing competition in the global MMA landscape. The promotion gradually slowed down its activity and held its final event in 2012. Although short-lived, Dream played an important role in bridging the gap between the Pride era and modern Japanese MMA, helping maintain the country’s presence in the international scene.
